BTAC Barn Hunt Workshop INTERMEDIATES 12.15-2.15pm
Suitable for partnerships who have attended a beginner's workshop and whose dogs are over 6 months and comfortable negotiating climb and simple tunnels.
In this workshop we shall help you to encourage your dog to find the rat tubes in more challenging courses always working with the individual dog at its own pace. Allowing the dogs to utilise their amazing sense of smell, to isolate scents and thoroughly enjoy themselves in the process.
Trial preparation and line drive training included.
Reactive dog? No problem - secure barn area, all doors surrounding barn can be closed. One dog only allowed in barn. Safe crossover areas. All dogs on lead outside of the barn hunt area.
In the UK we use DEAD rats, responsibly sourced from reptile feed suppliers. Rats are held in tubes which prevent you or your dog from seeing them.
